1．good与well的用法：
good adj.可作定语或表语，例如：
（1） Lao Li is a good man.
老李是个好人。
（2） Plenty of fruit is good for you.
吃大量水果对你有好处。
well adv.作状语，修饰动词，例如：
（1） Wash your hands well before you come to the dinning-table.
吃饭前把手洗干净。
（2） She paints very well.
她绘画很好。
well也可以作为表语性形容词与be, get, look, feel等连系动词搭配使用，例如：
Xiao Li didn't look very well this morning.
今天早上小李身体不大好。
请看下面两句（见Senior Book1 p2）
（1） In fact, his English in one of these articles was so good that Engels wrote him a letter praising him for it.
事实上，他（马克思）在那些文章中其中的一篇英文写得这样好，以致恩格斯为此而写信表扬他。
（2）… Marx kept on studying English and using it until he had mastered it so well that he was able to write one of his great works in English —— The Civil War in France.
马克思继续学习和使用英语，直至他掌握了英语，以致他能够用英语写下他的伟大著作之一《法兰西内战》。
第一句 so good that中的good是adj.，在句中作was的表语。
