  2. learn还有“得知”含义。如：
   (1) One day the woman learned that Liszt himself was in town.
  一大，这位妇人得知李斯特本人就在这城镇里。
  (2) I learn from his letter that hewas in Beijing.
  我从他信中得知他在北京。
  3．“向某人学习”用learn from;“记住什么”用learn…by heart。如：
  (1) We shouldlearn from comrade Lei Feng.
  我们应该向雷锋同志学习。
  (2) you must learn all these new words by heart.
  你必须把这些新单词熟记。
