Because 与Because of
  Because - for the reason that.“因为”是连词，引导出表示“原因”的状语从句。例如：
  （1） He won't come because he'svery busy.
  他不会来，因为他很忙。
  （2） Because it's a bit too far, wehad to take a bus.
  因为太远了，我们得坐公共汽车。
  Because of（相当于owing to）是“因为”，“由于”的意思。是介词，一般后接名词。例如：
  （1） Because of the rain we couldnot play outside.
  因为下雨我们不能在外边玩。
  （2） The shake was almost deadbecause of the cold.
  这条蛇由于天气冷几乎冻死了。
  试比较下列句子：
  Xiao Li didn't goto school because hewas ill.
  Xiao Li didn't go
  to school because ofhis illness.
  第一句的ill是形容词，作was的表语；第二句的illness是名词，作复合介词because of的宾语。两者不能互相替换。
  E x.用because或because of填空：
  1. We could not sleep____the heat
  We Could not sleep____ it.wasvery hot
  2.1 stayed at home____it rained.
  I stayed at home___ the rain
  3. Xiao Li did well in the English exam____hard work.
  Xiao Li didwell in the English exam____he worked hard.

  My grandma could not walk fasther old age.
